Mancat Monday

Tyler: "Mom, can we get past being mopey and sad and just admire how my dark panther furs showed up so silky and shiny in this photo?"

Mom: "Sure, I think I've cried enough tears.  I'm going to miss that old lady, that's for sure."

Tyler: "She sure was a hissy cat. Do you think she's still hissing at everybody over the Bridge?"

Mom: "I'm afraid I wouldn't recognize Kali without her hiss. Maybe it's how she's saying hello.
'Hisss, my name is Kali. Excuse me and please don't mind my bad manners, but I've always hissed to introduce myself and I don't want to stop now."

Tyler: "Mom, you're dreamin'. I can't ever hear her say 'excuse me' or 'please'. "

Mom: "Well, it is the Bridge after all. She has to be making friends. You never know how being out of pain has changed her mood. And what's wrong with a mother dreaming?"

Tyler: "Okay Mom. Have it your way. Just don't forget to give me some loving too."

Mom: "Like, 'Wow Tyler, you're furs are looking really silky and shiny."

Tyler: "Yep, just like that."

Tyler really is spectacular. Only a cat can tactfully keep things going sometimes.

I hope you yourself find peace. You are a good human!

Dear Tyler and Tyler's mom,

It's ok to hiss, I think it's quite normal on Kali.
Michico has a friend who has 2 cats, one of the cat hiss all the time, see the link here:

She is cute, but she certainly a hisser, as long as she saw another cat, she hiss, never stop. Michico's friend says this little girl cat started hiss since she only 2 months old, until now she is 3. Never stop. She only hiss less to his cat brother, but she still an angel to everyone~!

So... I believe there are many kittens at the bridge as the same habit like Kali, not to worry at all~!
Kali will have lots of friend, I believe, after all, there are so many kittens must have 1 or 2 could suit for Kali, so not worry at all :)

Big hug to you, Tyler, you are a handsome mancat~!!
Big hugs to your mommy as well~!!! We could cry together time to time~!!!

My big sister Pixie likes to hiss a lot, too. I think Kali would have been good friends with Pixie: hissy sisters.

I saw your note about Davis; my Mommie and Daddie went to UC Davis. A very, very, very long time ago!

It could be a tortie thing too - Pearl always hisses at me (it may have something to do with me chasing her, but I don't thing so)!

You are looking good today Tyler!

What a handsome House Panther you are Tyler! I'm sure you make your mommy feel better.

We think all our unique personalities stay with us at the Bridge and all the furries there love us completely with all our bad and good habits. I'm sure Kali's amazing hissing skills are being admired by all right now.

So we wanted to leave extra purrs and tail wags.
